You may not know his name, but it’s guaranteed that you are familiar with the venues he has DJ’d in, artists he has DJ’d for or the Atlanta radio station where he honed his skills. Despite his youth, DJ Bruckup’s resume and tenacity have put him on pace to become one on the brightest stars in the industry.

DJ Bruckup began his career as a DJ at the age of 15, providing his services for backyard cookouts, school and basement parties. This tradition carried over into his time in the Atlanta University Center (AUC) while he was a student at Morehouse College. During this time he developed a loyal following and was crowned the ‘Official DJ of the AUC’, and is still requested for premiere AUC events years after his graduation.

While at Morehouse he also started T-12 Entertainment, an event promotion company, with his classmate and line brother, Tarrik Mabon. This partnership and his job as Program Director’s Assistant and station DJ at WHAT (Hot 107.9) afforded him the opportunity to DJ in many of Atlanta’s most well-known establishments including Compound, Velvet Room, Justin’s, Icon, Pure Atlanta, Luckie Lounge and House. Although, Atlanta is home base for Bruckup he has also DJ’d at venues throughout the country including Play, Living Room and Heathrow in Miami and Plush in Memphis. In addition to performing at well-known venues he has DJ’d for some of the biggest names in the industry; Ludacris, Missy Elliot, Raheem Devaughn, Polow da Don, Jeezy, Freeway, David Banner, Doug E Fresh, Uncle Luke,  Janelle Monae, Wale, Shawty Lo, Wacka Flacka, Travis Porter and The Game just to name a Few.

Born and raised in the  Bronx, New York, but embraced in the South, DJ Bruckup brings his own unique flair to the music he mixes, which is evident in at every event he DJs. His star is just beginning to shine and is only destined to grow brighter.
